Characteristics: also known as «Salt of the Kings» because of its remarkable properties. It was formed more than 200 million years ago after ancient seas dried out. Today, this salt is extracted manually, pure and uncontaminated, from the mines west of the Himalayan chain. It has been preserved intact with large quantities of minerals and trace elements.
It has a high content of iron, calcium, potassium, sulphates and magnesium.
Composition: rock salt.
Recommendations: well balanced character, it exalts the flavour of many foods: from stewed meats to grilled vegetables, from roasted meat to salads. It can be used as cooking or table salt, as well as in garnishing dishes.
